BOROUGH OF ALLENHURST; NOTICE OF MEETING. October 13, 2020 at 7:30pm

The following notice is transmitted in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Allenhurst scheduled for October 13, 2020 at 7:30pm shall be conducted on an electronic basis, in accordance with P.L. 2020, c. 11, and in light of the declared COVID-19 Emergency. BE ADVISED THAT all meetings of the Board of Commissioners will be so conducted until further notice.

INSTRUCTIONS TO ATTEND/OBSERVE THE MEETINGS: Members of the Public are welcome and encouraged to participate in the electronic meetings. The meetings will be held via Zoom. WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENTS may be submitted and will be read aloud at the meeting. The same must be submitted at least 4 business days in advance of a scheduled meeting (by Thursday for a Tuesday meeting), via electronic mail in written form to Donna M. Campagna, R.M.C. at the following email address dcampagna@allenhurstnj.org.

INSTRUCTIONS TO PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENTS DURING THE MEETINGS: In accordance with the Department of Community Affairs' Local Operational Guidance, the Borough will observe the following public comment protocol: Interested parties may make public comments by clicking the "Raise Hand" button on their Zoom window, or typing a request to be un-muted in the chat box, if participating via computer. If joining via telephone interested parties may make a public comment by pressing *9 on their keypad to “Raise Hand” and request to be un-muted.

All presentations or documents that could be viewed by or made available to members of the public during an in-person public meeting shall either be made visible on the Zoom video broadcast of the meeting or made available on the Internet at the following link http://www.allenhurstnj.org.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Regular Meeting of the Borough of Allenhurst Planning Board is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 7:30 p.m at the

ALLENHURST FIRE HOUSE, 318 Hume St Allenhurst NJ 07711. Action will be taken as appropriate.

With the utmost concern for the health and safety of the public and our municipal staff due to the potential spread of the COVOD-19 virus, it is necessary for the Borough of Allenhurst to take proactive measures. The health and safety of our community remains our number one priority. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times during the public meeting.

RECYCLING—COMMINGLED: BOTTLES, CANS, PLASTIC CONTAINERS EVERY WEDNESDAY
MUST BE RINSED AND PLACED IN A CONTAINER MARKED “RECYCLING” MAX OF 30-GALLON AND PLACED NEXT TO GARBAGE CANS IN REAR OF RESIDENCE.

NO FLOWER POTS, PRESCRIPTION MEDICINE BOTTLES, LIGHTERS, RAZORS, PAINT, VARNISH, MOTOR OIL OR PESTICIDE CONTAINERS, WINDOW PANES, LIGHT BULBS, CRYSTAL ITEMS

MIXED PAPER & NEWSPAPER & CORRUGATED CARDBOARD: EVERY WEDNESDAY BY 7AM -
MAY BE EITHER SECURELY TIED IN BUNDLES WEIGHING LESS THAN 50 LBS OR PLACED IN A COVERED 30-GALLON CONTAINER NEXT TO CURB PRIOR TO 7:30 AM.

LEAVES—SPRINGTIME MUST BE CONTAINERIZED AND PLACED AT CURB. AUTUMN BETWEEN SEPT 1 AND DEC 31—CAN BE PLACED LOOSE AT CURB.

BRUSH—SMALL BRUSH PIECES MUST BE CONTAINERIZED/BRANCHES UP TO 8” IN DIAMETER AND UP TO 7’ LONG WILL BE COLLECTED AT CURB. MAY BE PLACED FOR COLLECTION ANY DAY.

GRASS—BOROUGH NO LONGER COLLECTS GRASS CLIPPINGS.

PAINT AND PAINT CANS: TUE AND FRI/LATEX OR OIL-BASED PAINTS/ MUST DRY OUT THE PAINT (less than 1” in can)/REAR YARD (place with household trash in containers for disposal)
