The following notice is transmitted in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-6 et seq. PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Regular Meeting of the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Allenhurst scheduled for October 13, 2020 at 7:30pm shall be conducted on an electronic basis, in accordance with P.L. 2020, c. 11, and in light of the declared COVID-19 Emergency. BE ADVISED THAT all meetings of the Board of Commissioners will be so conducted until further notice.

INSTRUCTIONS TO ATTEND/OBSERVE THE MEETINGS: Members of the Public are welcome and encouraged to participate in the electronic meetings. The meetings will be held via Zoom. WRITTEN PUBLIC COMMENTS may be submitted and will be read aloud at the meeting. The same must be submitted at least 4 business days in advance of a scheduled meeting (by Thursday for a Tuesday meeting), via electronic mail in written form to Donna M. INSTRUCTIONS TO PROVIDE PUBLIC COMMENTS DURING THE MEETINGS: In accordance with the Department of Community Affairs' Local Operational Guidance, the Borough will observe the following public comment protocol: Interested parties may make public comments by clicking the "Raise Hand" button on their Zoom window, or typing a request to be un-muted in the chat box, if participating via computer. If joining via telephone interested parties may make a public comment by pressing *9 on their keypad to “Raise Hand” and request to be un-muted.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Regular Meeting of the Borough of Allenhurst Planning Board is scheduled for Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 7:30 p.m at the

ALLENHURST FIRE HOUSE, 318 Hume St Allenhurst NJ 07711. Action will be taken as appropriate.

With the utmost concern for the health and safety of the public and our municipal staff due to the potential spread of the COVOD-19 virus, it is necessary for the Borough of Allenhurst to take proactive measures. The health and safety of our community remains our number one priority. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing at all times during the public meeting.

1. Where is Allenhurst's Borough Hall and their hours of operation?

Borough Hall is located at 125 Corlies Avenue. Borough Hall is open Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 4:30pm. During the Summer, Borough Hall is open Monday - Thursday from 8:00am - 4:30pm and on Friday from 8:00am - 2:00pm.

2. Where is the Police Department located and how can I contact them?

The Police Department is located at 125 Corlies Avenue adjacent to Borough Hall. In the event of an emergency, please call 911. For all other issues, please call 732-531-2255.

3. Where is the Fire Department and First Aid Squad located and how can I contact them?

6. Do I have to be a member of the Beach Club to use the beach?

No, you can obtain a daily badge to enter the beach at the end of Cedar Avenue at Ocean Place.

7. Are there any restrictions on pets at the beach?

Yes, pets are not allowed on the boardwalk or beach between May 1st and October 1st.

8. Can I leave my car overnight at the train station?

Yes, but the Borough accepts no responsibility for damage that may occur.

9. What are the conditions at the beach today?

Although we are working on setting up a camera at the beach club, you can go to the hyperlink on our homepage or the one listed below and get weather conditions and a view of the ocean using Belmar's camera. The conditions will be similar at the Allenhurst Beach Club. http://www.belmarcam.com/
