ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING AN APPROPRIATION PURSUANT TO N.J.S.A. 40A:4-53 FOR THE PREPARATION OF A REVISION OF THE GENERAL AND PERMANENT ORDINANCES OF THE BOROUGH OF ALLENHURST, COUNTY OF MONMOUTH, STATE OF NEW JERSEY

BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of Commissioners of the Borough of Allenhurst in the County of Monmouth, State of New Jersey, as follows:
I. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:4-53 (Chapter 48, P.L. 1956), the sum of Twenty Thousand ($20,000.00) Dollars is hereby appropriated for the preparation of a revision and codification of the general and permanent ordinances of the Borough of Allenhurst and shall be deemed an emergency appropriation as defined and provided in N.J.S.A. 40A:4-55.
II. Such appropriation shall be provided for in succeeding annual budgets by the inclusion of at least 1/5 of the amount authorized pursuant to this act.
III. This ordinance shall take effect twenty (20) days after final adoption and publication in accordance with law.
