ORDINANCE #2007-09

AN ORDINANCE OF THE BOROUGH OF ALLENHURST,

COUNTY OF MONMOUTH AND STATE OF NEW JERSEY

AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CERTAIN TRAFFIC CONTROL

ORDINANCES PREVIOUSLY ADOPTED WITHIN THE BOROUGH

BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS OF THE BOROUGH OF ALLENHURST, AS FOLLOWS :

SECTION I.

That Section 2 of an Ordinance entitled, “AN ORDINANCE REGULATING PARKING AND DESIGNATING ONE WAY STREETS IN THE BOROUGH OF ALLENHURST, MONMOUTH COUNTY, NEW JERSEY, AND PROVIDING PENALTIES AND IMPRISONMENT FOR THE VIOLATION THEREOF”, adopted July 28, 1970, be amended and supplemented to include the following:

Section 2. The following described streets are hereby designated as one way streets:

(A) Ocean Place between Allen Avenue and Corlies Avenue in a northerly direction permanently.

SECTION II.

All other ordinances and parts of ordinances in conflict or inconsistent with this Ordinance, are hereby repealed, but only to the extent of such inconsistency.

SECTION III.

Should any section, paragraph, sentence, clause or phrase of this Ordinance be declared unconstitutional or invalid, for any reason, the remaining portion of this Ordinance shall not be affected thereby and shall remain in full force and effect, and to this end, the provisions of this Ordinance are hereby declared to be severable.

SECTION IV.

This Ordinance shall become effective after final adoption and publication as provided by law.
