Garbage Collection: Tuesdays and Fridays

The Borough provides rear yard garbage collection. Garbage collection will start at 5:30am. Receptacles may not exceed 50 lbs. and bundles may not be more than four feet in length.

Grass clippings, leaves, metal items, newspapers, glass food jars and bottles, aluminum cans, waste oil, and household hazardous waste cannot be placed for collection with your garbage.

Recycling: Wedesdays

All recycling must be put out on Tuesday PM for early Wednesday AM pick-up. Collection begins at 5:30am.

Secured bundles of newspaper, magazines and cardboard shall be placed at the curb Tuesday PM for early Wednesday AM pick-up. Please place at curb for pickup.

Glass jars and bottles, aluminum, tin, bi-metal food and beverage containers and pourable plastic containers may be mixed together. Please rinse and place in a reusable, weather-proof container, (a trash can with handles is suggested with holes drilled in the bottom for drainage). These will be picked up from the rear. Please do not place recyclables in plastic bags.

Leaves may be placed loose at the curb during the months of September, October, November and December. Otherwise, they must be containerized and placed at the curb for pickup.

Grass is no longer collected and should be left on lawn when cut.

Brush is to be tied in bundles not exceeding four feet in length, and 50 lbs per bundle. Smaller brush may be containerized and placed at the curb for pickup.

Bulk Items

The Borough schedules 6 Bulk Pick-up Days throughout the year. The scheduled day are announced in January and are posted on this website.
